What is the difference between LED neon and traditional neon?
LED neon consumes significantly less energy than a glass tube (up to 10 times less). It heats up very little and uses unbreakable PVC/acrylic tubes. Its lifespan is extremely long (30,000 to 50,000 hours, or 3 to 5 years of continuous lighting), much longer than that of traditional neon. The latter, made of glass tubes, contains toxic gases and remains fragile.
How to order a custom LED neon sign?
Ordering is 100% online: enter your text, font, color, size and upload your logo. Manufacturing takes ~5–7 business days and shipping takes about 1–3 weeks depending on the destination. Your sign will arrive ready to hang (acrylic backing and complete kit included). We also offer decorative LED neon mirrors (e.g. USB powered wave mirror) to brighten up any interior.
What are the delivery times for my custom neon?
Total lead times are generally around 1 to 3 weeks. Some say ~10 business days. At Color Neon, production takes ~5–7 business days followed by 8–20 days of transport depending on the country. You will receive a tracking number by email, and delivery is often free or fast upon request (express option ~10–14 days).
How much does a custom neon sign cost?
The price of a custom neon sign depends on its size and complexity (design, number of colors, tube length, etc.). On average, custom LED neon signs cost from a few hundred to ~1000 €. Use our online configurator or send your design to receive a personalized quote quickly.
How do I customize my neon sign (text, logo, colors)?
Our neon signs are fully customizable. Choose any text, fonts, colors (even multi-colored) and size of the support. We can also integrate your logo or personal design: upload the file and we will incorporate it into your sign. You will receive a realistic mock-up before production to validate the final result.
How do I install and maintain my neon sign?
Installation is very simple. Each sign comes on a pre-drilled acrylic backing with all the necessary mounting hardware (screws, wall plugs, spacers). Simply attach it to the wall like a picture or hang it with the included cables (3M adhesive strips are provided for small neon lights). Our LED neon lights operate on 12V, do not heat up and require no maintenance.
